Our mission
At K9 Stay N Play, we opened our doors in 2023 with a simple goal: to provide a safe and fun environment for dogs to stay, play and socialize. We make it our mission to ensure every dog feels at home while in our care.

About the owner
K9 Stay N Play, established in 2023, is proudly owned and operated by Muriel Tingley, a lifetime member of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) with over 30 years of experience in the dog world. Muriel has dedicated much of her life to breeding and raising the elegant and intelligent Belgian Tervuren, gaining an in-depth understanding of canine behavior, temperament, and care.
In addition to her breeding background, Muriel is a certified dog trainer with specialized studies in canine behavior – a vital skillset for managing a safe, healthy, and engaging daycare and boarding environment. Her keen ability to interpret dog body language allows her to proactively manage group dynamics and individual needs, ensuring a positive experience for every dog in her care.
Muriel’s experience includes competing in CKC obedience, participating in agility, and working with a wide variety of breeds. Her deep-rooted passion for dogs is reflected in every aspect of K9 Stay N Play. Clients can expect a high standard of care where each dog is treated with the same attention and compassion as Muriel’s own.
At K9 Stay N Play, excellence in dog care is backed by decades of hands-on expertise, a commitment to safety, and a genuine love for animals.
